Installation of the
Demo/Test Board

This device is designed to simulate the foot and parking brake sequence for testing  all major brands of in-dash display units.

The red and green lights will indicate proper operation of the unit. When power is applied, the red light will come on and stay on during the test sequence, simulating operation of the foot brake. It will automatically go off at the end of the sequence, simulating release of the foot brake. The green light will flash during the time the foot brake is being simulated and switch to solid on (simulating hand brake being applied) when the red light goes off (simulating foot brake is released).

Wiring Instructions

* Note the red power lead must be connected to accessory and not ignition for proper operation.

Brown wire is used for new models to slow sequence as required

This board simulates the hand brake and foot brake requirement allowing the use of display units in BOATS, AIRPLANES, MOTORCYCLES and OTHER INSTALLATIONS (such as RV, SUV, LIMO or CONVERSION VAN PASSENGER COMPARTMENTS) WHERE HAND AND FOOT BRAKE SIGNALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.
This unit is not intended for use in any manner which violates laws concerning Driver viewability while the vehicle is in motion. Please use responsibly!
